CONTENT MANAGER

As Content Manager at Weekends in Rotterdam, I create and coordinate content about everything the city has to offer. From new restaurants and cultural events to hidden gems, local entrepreneurs and weekend tips, I help translate Rotterdam’s energy into inspiring online content.
My work includes writing articles, creating social media content, planning posts and supporting collaborations with local businesses, cultural organisations and hospitality venues. This means I am involved in both the creative and strategic side of content, from coming up with ideas and writing copy to making sure the right message reaches the right audience.
In addition, I am involved in sales, client contact, video editing, creating visuals in InDesign and Premiere Pro, managing content in WordPress and writing SEO-focused copy. I also help translate collaborations into content that feels natural for the platform, while still meeting the goals of the client.
What I love most about this role is that I get to stay closely connected to the city. It allows me to discover new places, meet inspiring people and share stories that encourage others to explore Rotterdam too.
